A day in the life

This poor hummingbird got trapped in our skylight in the kitchen. Both the four footed one and I were alarmed. He couldn't find his way out. Finally, I remembered the old butterfly net that I bought awhile ago because it was so lovely. I amazingly was able to find it, and with the help of a stool, caught the little birdy (and saw his unbelievably brilliant emerald chest) ,escorted him outside where he happily flew off.
